Medium to light color with a lovely nose and a medium weight complex body with a medium length complex aftertaste. A lovely wine that stood up to 2 California Chardonnay wines easily. Well worth the money — 4 years ago

Honestly, for the price point, this was shockingly good. It’s been a long time since I’ve had a Montepulciano of this caliber. Big body, full fruit, healthy tannins. What more can you want out of a $15 bottle? Applause all around to this house, for producing excellent pecorino too. — 4 years ago

Love that this wine helps protect turtles and is great in its own right. Unique flavor like citra hops in an IPA, light an fruity bit like mead (honey and spice). Notes are floral, grapefruit, honey, green pepper, spice, clay minerality. — 4 years ago
The nose on this Italian wine is a bit fuzzy at first, but the cherries and blackberries are there, along with a strong initial whiff of chocolate. It's medium-ruby in color and offers cherry, black cherry and a hint of raspberry on the palate. Tannins are reasonable, if not very firm, and the acidity is very refreshing. I snacked it with a hard Italian cheese, the name of which escapes me. Pair it with meat or tomato sauce dishes and you'll be fine. — 5 years ago
