2018 vintage. 100% Merlot from this estate in Lalande de Fronsac, named after Valandraud owner Jean-Luc Thunevin's daughter. Another sexy Bordeaux value. Good concentration, ripe fruit, ripe tannin and good acidity. A little alcohol heat in the finish prevents it from a higher score, but very good value at less than 10 euros. — 4 years ago
Great second wine indeed and a savvy restaurant choice. Very lush — 2 months ago
2014 vintage. Named after Valandraud owner Jean-Luc Thunevin's daughter, this estate is planted with 100% Merlot vines, on average 40 years old. Delicious medium-bodied Saint-Emilion-like Bordeaux with a hint of truffle in the nose. Smooth and silky at perfect maturity. Good value at 9,5 euro. — 4 years ago

This is a fantastic red absolutely smooth with light notes of forest fruits, enjoying this with a piece of red meat, great pairing with friends. — 10 months ago
Nice St. Emilion Bordeaux, Blackberry notes drive with more subtle notes of anise and tea. — 4 years ago
3rd bottle from a recently acquired six pack...
Considerable bottle variation, but this one is in great condition! Greenish yellow swirl, a lot lighter and brighter than my previous bottle @Valandraud in April.
Yellow flowers, roasted nuts, wet pebbles, hot buttered breadcrust, peach jelly and lemoncurd. Big acidic frame, but certainly enough stuffing and body to save it from being shrill.. Man, this is truly spectacular...!
