Jun 2025: 1 hour intensive aeration, nice aroma, cherry, tobacco, leather, medium body and aftertaste, no sign of aging, will try next bottle in three to five years. Classic and enjoyable. — 3 years ago
Barest hints of soft wintergreen, light eucalyptus, and menthol. Very clean and polished. — 4 years ago

Bought 2006 at Schneider’s in 2014. Opened 2 Jun 2018. Thin brownish light red. Plenty robust. Forest floor, leaves, berries, cherry. Not huge fruit. Tannin on first sip. Second glass even more rich — cerise, cassis — and lively. Structure of tannin, acid alcohol and fruit right in synch. Temperature of 55 is probably too cold. L says “fertile” abundance. — 8 years ago
Mu sake Jun-mai daiginyo. Almost like an imperial ipa, flavor drops on the end. Amazing — 9 years ago

Enjoyable Pinot Gris from Oregon. Not overly complex - but really good. 2016 vintage on Jun 5, 2019 — 7 years ago
Drank on 1 Jun 2017 in Wien @ Walter Bauer. Excellent balance of acidity, sweetness and minerality, outstanding value — 9 years ago
Dark red fruit nose. Super ripe black cherry, blackberry, then light spice, like white pepper, and a little bit of funk. Clean on the palette. Very drinkable. Had on jun 29 2016. — 10 years ago
This was all part of our Sake Day 2025 experience. We only tasted 60ish sakes out of an estimated 450, so a small fraction of what was available. While I attempted to rinse the glass with water and stay hydrated it’s difficult to fairly rate in this environment and I use it solely as a time to try a wide variety and interact with the brands. — 9 months ago
Jun 2025: classic Mosel, lacks some individuality — 2 years ago
Dolcetto doesn’t get any better than this. Blackberry and spice - super concentrated - more than most Dolcettos. Drink this while you’re waiting for your Barolo to age. Vajra is a great producer - everything they make is good. 2017 vintage on Jun 18, 2019 — 7 years ago
Absolutely a stunner. I preferred it slightly above room temp. Paired with a cornucopia of fresh oyster-Sex on the Bay, Blue Points and Beausoleil. 80% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Noir disgorged on Jun 2015. Nose of the Krug Grand Cuvée, the oak gives it a sassy side. Slightly creamy texture, lemon curd and honeysuckle fill the mouth. Finish is over 30 sec. A can’t miss Champagne! — 8 years ago

What beautiful wine. The secondary fruit notes are coming through, some dried fruit, more body. This is still an insanely austere wine. Sea shells, lemons, apples, chamomile, flowers, more apples, orange blossom. It’s just so much better with the fruit tasting older. So glad I experienced this over a few years to see how champagne evolves. 2015 harvest, disgorged jun 2019, no dosage. — 8 months ago
