Aged 50% in stainless steel and 50% in old Burgundian barrels. Pale lemon with aromas of citrus, stone fruits and herb notes. Green apple, peach, mineral and floral notes right after opening. As it warms up has a slightly oily sensation reminiscent of lemon peel. At an even later stage a sweet aroma of fennel seeds. Nice long finish with a slight hint of refreshing bitterness. Hint of smokiness as well. Rounded mouthfeel with good and balanced acidity. — 7 years ago
