Sagrantino is the most tannic varietal around but these guys pull it off. Give this a few years bottle aging and it will sing. — 10 years ago
Savory, smooth, very easy. Drinking well now. Bitter oakey nose. Sort of juicy too. Morish. Fresh finish. Some fruit. Lovely. Want more. — 11 years ago

Chalmers wines Heathcote Lanbrusco 2012. Dry! Red berries, lots of tannins. Front of palette, short but great acid. — 11 years ago

This won the Trophy for the best White Wine at the Toowoomba Wine Show last weekend and went on to win Champion Wine of the Show. Colour is very pale lemon. Notes of green Apple - skins and flesh, also Lime. The palate has quince and mandarin notes - quite unctuous and fleshy on the palate - low acid and medium plus intensity. Even though the winery is in the Granite Belt/Ballandean the fruit is from Chalmers Vineyard in Mildura in Victoria. The 2020 vintage in Ballandean was probably the most challenging on record with droughts, fires and record low yields. As a result, no Vermentino was harvested at Golden Grove Estate. — 6 years ago
Heathcote Sang from where else? Chalmers of course. Solid wine for the price.
Hey @Scott Rowe . When we were just complaining about the identification system, Delectable suddenly decides to deliver 😊 This got identified out of no where. — 9 years ago
Really fresh, balanced wine. Kind of like a light-bodied, low-alcohol Viognier with acidity. Low-key but attractive nose of orchard fruits, then intense fruit on palate - most obviously apricot, but baked pear and tangerine chiming in, plus an almond note. A hint of chalkiness, and natural acidity draws it to impressive length. A lovely wine to serve with lunch on a warm day. — 11 years ago

I have a feeling that this varies year to year but tbhs Aussie '22 oddball blend at $16 a bottle is a great table wine.
A simple approachable blend of red and black fruits on the nose. The Nero D'Avola is the only thing I can pick out as familiar.
Mouth feel is good - rounded and balanced with medium acids and medium tannins. A wine that offends no one but wows no one. Like I said - a perfect table red. — 10 months ago
