Wow, flavor bomb 💥 intense and complex. Tobacco, mocha, cedar, graphite, and dirt around a nice core of sweet and charred dark fruit, cassis, plum, and blackberry. Soft, round, and long. Yum!

2013 was a not a great year for Bordeaux apparantly. But not for this second wine of Haut Marbuzet. Plenty of red fruit, nice acidity , maybe a bit too tannic. Nevertheless a good wine! — 2 years ago
