Well, what an overachiever this wine is! Mayne Lalande, a little known chateau in Listrac-Médoc, and a bottle which I picked up for a humble price at auction around a year ago. Wish they had more, $25.00 K&L's barrel tasting notes - 100% merlot and 100% new oak. Small property next to Grand Mayne. Only 500 cases produced. Great concentration and very well-balanced wine. Sweet and lush.
