Nose presents baking spices and a touch of soft brown sugar. Palate is dense and layered, as usual for this producer (before the winery changed hands the first time around). Notes of coffee, tobacco and maple syrup come through on the mid palate. Nice tannin/acidity combination complete what is a classic BV presentation. Drink these within the 24 months. This winery has been on the slide ever since Ed Snyder and team departed. I tasted some of the 18’s and 19’s and they were a mere shadow of the previous product.

A split rating between Lesley and Harry. Light tannins but slightly peppery very smooth across the palette…yummy! Especially sitting next to the Raspberry patch and eating my best burgers ever and broccoli harvested moments before cooking. TBD - s’mores are next on the agenda. Wish you were here!! — 5 months ago

A lusciously beautiful blend of Cabernet Sauvignon from multiple vintages; 2019, 2021 and 2022 produced light medley aromas of red fruits and spices. Rounded tannins, solid but not so punchy, and well-balanced on the mid-palate with silky texture and finish. Simply lovely! — a month ago
We had the 2012 Vintage on 11/3-4/24. A nice Old World Bordeaux. BlackBerry, plum and spice on the palate. Tannins smoothed out. Full bodied and well balanced. — 2 months ago
Region: Saint-Estephe Grape Variety: Bordeaux Blend Red ABV: 13.5% . "Ruby red with violet reflections in colour, on the nose, aromas of plum and cassis with notes of spices. On the palate, dry, oaky, smokey, spicy, fruity, hint of tobacco, touch of leather and toast, delivers red fruits character, balanced, lengthy, soft, silky, layered, mature, earthy, persisted, rich, firm. It has a long finish." — 4 months ago

Opened and decanted about an hour prior to service and presented double-blind. The wine appears deep yellow nearing gold in color; medium+ viscosity. On the nose, the wine is vinous and super floral with peaches and marzipan and some signs of oak, a portion new French oak. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium- acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long, weighty with a pronounced oily texture. Alcohol is elevated. I called Marsanne/Roussanne blend from France, Northern Rhône, Hermitage Blanc with 15+ years of age. Close! The florals and elevate alcohol should have steered me to Condrieu but that’s hindsight. Regardless, this was a delicious reminder to allow Northern Rhône whites to age. Drink now. — 25 days ago
