Floral and salty in the nose. Bright minerals with some fruit on the palette. Medium body, some tannins, short finish. Interesting wine, a little pricey — 7 years ago

La Sabbiona ‘Voltapagina’ Rosato 2020: Medium-light bodied. Nice acidity. Bright fresh flavors of strawberry, citrus & watermelon. Made of 70% Sangiovese & 30% Centesimino, this Emilia-Romagna rosé from Ravenna is the perfect summertime wine. Crisp, fruity & refreshing! Cheers🍷 — 2 years ago

Fascinating and delightful wine from the rare Centesimino grape made naturally. Lithe and pretty and very nose: red fruit - raspberry, plum, cherry; flowers - jasmine (?) and lily (?); white pepper and five spice. No oak. Full bodied. Medium plus grainy tannin. Medium acid. Pleasingly dry. Long finish. High alc in balance. Fruit character has a slight tartness that keeps this fresh. So yummy. — 7 years ago

2021 vintage. This very obscure grape from Ravenna, a city famous for its mosaic tiles, is an interesting hard to mail down red. More floral and herbal than anything else. At times peonies, lavender, roses and maybe even a little lupine in there. Nice dark fruits , vibrant structure, little hints of iodine on the finish. Nothing else quite like it. This bottle retails for around $20. I can see seafood Diablo style dishes being interesting with it. — 2 years ago
