Despite the listed wine it is my understanding this is a direct press (no skin contact) Malvasia de Sitges. Yellow in glass with light haze. Pomme fruits. Great balance with low abv. If it smells like an orange and looks like an orange it’s a duck…or however that saying goes. — a year ago
Black cherry, black raspberry, mushroom, earthy. 2012 but still plenty of fruit. Nice acidity, retained tannins. Really nice — 5 years ago

Tastefully and subtly tart, but not like kombucha, actually very crisp, closer to a great white than an orange wine. Flavors of pear and citrus. — 3 years ago
Proof that Robert Parker can be right. Still fresh and vibrant, remarkably complex w. brambly dark berry pie filling, cassis, sour cherry. Chewy, unctuous and dedinitely punching above its weight class. — 7 years ago
Value purchase from the local coop; gave it a chance. Good black and red fruit on the nose. Moderate pigment extraction with very good clarity for a red this dark. Deep red with a purple tinge, maybe. Nice red fruit in mouth, moving toward cherry and raspberry jam with fine seed bitterness on the finish. Starts tart on initial pour, but still assessing. Fruity but not fruit-forward (if one can make that distinction). Curious to see where this goes with some O2 and polymerization. Remains tart through first hour, though tannin structure emerges (raised rating). And that’s all she wrote. A good red, but shy of greatness. Good structure and fruit, and thankfully not overoaked. — 6 months ago

Great recommendation from som in ABQ. All young stone fruit and tart citrus finish. — 5 years ago
Pippa
This is a really unique and lovely wine! It starts citrusy, lime and grapefruit, almost like an orange wine. It resolves super slowly but finishes with roasted almonds, vanilla, and a little hint of wet dog. Surprising and delicious. — 2 months ago
