Carpenter coming correct!! This is wound up like a starstruck boy around the finger of his celebrity crush. You get hints of all the lovely Pinotness, but it actually needs some decanting (of the second day) to really truly explode. Classic Cali PN, but with a clean mineral depth that speaks of other influences. — 4 years ago
Should have waited to open this one. Seems a bit high on the alcohol. Eating at Murano Restaurant on Celebrity Solstice in route to Sidney. Just left Melbourne but will be back next week to visit the local wineries. — 5 years ago
First night of our Celebrity Solstice cruise from Auckland, New Zealand to Sydney, Australia. Ate in the Tuscan Grille, a pay extra dining experience. The wine was much better than the food. — 5 years ago

last year NYE wine choice was a budget champagne. i got what i paid for. ok-ish and nothing more.
picked the local celebrity sparkling wine this year. cheaper and much better. made by golan heights winery - one of 🇮🇱 biggest wine producers.
and 🌏 thanks me for local produce choice.
100% chardonnay
made the traditional way.
11.5% ABV
pale lemon 👀
bread crumbs, lemon with some grapefruit oil and hints of pear and almond👃
full body.
medium + acidity.
firm and long lasting bubbles.
mostly tart citrus with added yeasti charecter and funk hints (from the lees i assume) 👄
long pleasant 🎯
a real ⭐ for sure.
great vfm (119 nis). not cheap but well worth it's price.
paired lovely with different grilled cheeses on 🇩🇪 style pretzel dough buns. so yummy.

Tasting great at 5 years. Dining on the Celebrity Solstice in the Murano restaurant tonight. Third of 14 dinners on this Auckland to Sidney cruise. — 5 years ago
Rich fruit with deep berry notes and good structure. Tannins we’re integrated and had a nice finish. Group enjoyed it as it stood out from other wines as superior quality. As much as I’m not a fan of celebrity wineries, the winemaker is well known and regarded so at least they invested wisely in talent. — 4 years ago
With two hours of air in the decanter this bottle was quite magnificent and the best VCC I have ever had! It had a spinal structure though hidden through the celebrity tones of a great Pomerol, with notes of tobacco, tar, black fruits, red fruits and a very long finish! — 5 years ago
An amazing wine! Dining by on the Celebrity Solstice in the Murano Restaurant enjoying with chateaubriand as we are leaving Hobart, Tasmania, Australia, heading to Melbourne. — 5 years ago
