Tannin on nose, deep dark color, so well blended, slightly spicy, don’t want to put it down! — 24 days ago
Medium body, Pear & honeysuckle on the nose. Smooth. Hints of sweetness on the fore palate, followed by mild orange blossom. (Christmas dinner w/ Lee & Shania) — 24 days ago
I prefer reds - but a good buttery white is also fine with me. This is pleasantly buttery but still has crisp mouthwatering acidity with pear and butterscotch on the palate. Clean finish. — 15 days ago
Very fruity on the nose and palate. I get red and black fruits. Cherries and black currants are very prevalent. Had it chilled and warm, delicious both ways. A very very enjoyable wine. — 19 days ago
Clean, bright, subtle fruit forward taste, good minerality. Very crushable — 5 days ago
Slightly aromatically challenged, but hints of honey and white flowers lead to a palate of orange and lemon, lemon pith, grapefruit, lilacs, and hint of wet stone and salinity. Good balance and zippy acidity but a bit tart on the finish. Still a very enjoyable wine! — a month ago
Date drank: August 2018
Year: 2014
Producer: Bloomer Creek
Grape(s): 50% Reisling, 50% cayuga white
Region: Cayuga Lake. Finger lakes. NY
Distributor/Importer: na
Natty: yes. Low input organic vineyards. No sulfer added
Tasting Notes: First, the nose was amazing, very aromatic with hints of orange peel, honey, lemon maybe ? Its a late harvest but fermented to dryness and amazingly balanced with fruit and sweetness while also being dry and clean. Doesnt cloy and goes well with fish or light summer vegetables. I still dream about this wine — 3 days ago
Cherry Bomb. busting with red fruits with lots of cherry and raspberry flavors. long finish and nice tannins. As usual, some great wine producers providing Belhurst with top quality wines. — 8 days ago
this was honestly one of the best Pinot Noirs I have had. With all the Forge hype these days i didn’t want to like this as much as i did - trying to adjust for the hype bias, but I couldn’t stop drinking it - beautifully fruit forward with soft cherries and perfect tannins. Young but meant to drink young in my humble opinion. — 24 days ago

Nose has sliced yellow apple, sliced green apple, green melon, faint green table grapes and a light oak touch.
Palate has ripe pineapple, lychee, light caramel, light honey and medium (somewhat neutral) oak/vanilla; medium finish.
A very solid effort for the new, second label from Ravines Wine. I'll gladly pull some of these into our future wine club ships, at under $15 this is solid buy.
Opened one day prior to contribute to our braising liquid for chicken thighs. — 10 days ago
