Nice Beaujolais Villages from a producer I'm a big fan of! Worth it to pay the couple extra bucks for a Cru level wine, but this is still nice for what it is — 5 months ago

Well balanced, full bodied, good length. Strawberry and cherry nose, cherry, raspberry, strawberry, redcurrant tang, good acidity, medium alcohol, soft tannins — 6 years ago
Nose has cut strawberry, ripe raspberry, dry chalk, baking spice and light alcohol.
Palate has ripe cherry, fresh raspberry, dried black cherry and dried cranberry sprinkled with allspice.
Decanted ~2.5h, a young wine that would appreciate a few more years in the bottle. Tonight it paired successfully with homemade burgers from a local farmer in Columbia Co. NY (Kinderhook Farm).
Happy Memorial Day to all, especially those who have come before me to protect the freedom we enjoy in the USA, Thank you. 🇺🇲 — 6 years ago
Interesting how it comes across as a more serious wine then you get from the region, but then you taste the floral and the lightness, but it’s interesting that the lightness of the wine hides behind the heavy side. My bottle has been open for a bit. I can tell it definitely has that chewy almost ripe fruit, sort of Christmas spices thing going on, very delicious and pairs very well with my meal, but just a different kind of wine you get from the region. Usually, you get the floral and delicate flavors first but not this one. Very interesting and very delicious. — 2 months ago
Chardonnay. From a single vineyard near Fleurie. Fermented in stainless steel. The 2018 is very rich, full of fruits like lemon and peach, but there's also a bright acidity. My bottle has some oxidized character to it as well. — 6 years ago
For many years I have found this wine to be subdued and shut down and have always wondered how that’s possible but NOW this wine was so expressive it became the winner for a few days of showing. Too much to say. This is expert winemaking with real unique clean and noble style. Still no one has caught on. Trained by Allemand in Cornas. — 6 years ago
