Very peachy at first and then turning to apple. Light oak and vanilla, with mild green apple acidity and a little lemon. Minerality is subdued and hard to place. I've had Macon wines that left a bigger impression but this is very nice and good with food. I had it with a mild curry of catfish and that was a good pairing. — 8 years ago
2014 vintage. Baked peach and quince on nose. More melon on palate, with the plump structure of Macon and a wood-tinged finish. A little buttery and round. — 9 years ago
Notes of lemon cello and honeysuckle, perhaps green apple jelly rancher. The mouth is light and refreshing, with a pleasant tart finish. I almost taste some slight toasted oak on the finish, but it’s 100% stainless steel. Great with food or by itself. For the price, it’s a solid Macon-Charnay. — 6 years ago
