South of Rome inland on a clay vulcanic soil
250 m on sea level
Cincinnato is establishing itself as a marvellous reality in the area
They have a beatifull resort as well
Wine is 100% Greco grape that doesn't touch any oak, no malo, but spends 3 months on the lees.
It becomes quite fleshy.
It has a peculiar scent of delicate red berries decorated by some pear and a distinctive smokiness.
This wine definitely has personality
I would match with mushrooms, white meat and cheeses.
Quite long. — 4 months ago
Natural wine from Lazio. Surprisingly it doesn't smell like dishwater like its bio peers. It's fruity, it greasy, it's great. — 3 years ago
High acid with good body, intense minerality and compelling dryness. Super value. — 6 years ago
Ceccherini Cristiano
Very interesting variety to propose here in Australia
Indigenous to the area south of Rome
It does have potential
It is easy drinking and also quote complex
After the Cesanese this is probably the most appealing grape from Lazio
The wine is light but complex
Quite long too
