This was recommended at dinner in a small town up in the French Pyrenees and it went just perfectly with the perfectly cooked duck breast and a medium rare burger. — a year ago
Antidote to new world over heavy wines. Pinot Noir subtlety that can be found only in Burgundy — 6 years ago
Low on the radar and I hope it stays that way as enjoyable as this wine is.
45% Marsanne, 30% Ugni Blanc, 20% Clairette, 5% Bourboulenc
From seaside vineyards, the plots lie within direct sight of the Mediterranean in some cases or are towered over by the palisade like cap Canaille which forms part of the coast in Cassis.
The aroma is of stone fruits, fresh white spring flowers, fennel spice, all accented salty sea air. The palate is juicy white peaches sprinkled with sea salt, with a touch of licorice like spice. Excellent acidity and body, with a refreshing and clean finish. #cassis #realprovence — 8 years ago
Sour-y, juicy, apples. Cider? Wine? You tell me. — a year ago
1er Roumier: pas déçu mais pas sur le cul... encore beaucoup de fruit type cerise, c’est sans défaut, ultra propre mais il manque un petit côté canaille. Beaucoup de plaisir quand même — 6 years ago
