A languedoc medium sweet wine. Great with cheese after dinner and the locals make an excellent sangria with it which goes down well on the beach — 2 years ago
Hungarian desert wine. Easily on a par with a Madiera or a vin Santo. I used most of it for cooking to add a magic sweet splash to risotto’s and saucy things like fried mushrooms in cream. — 2 years ago
Really impressive. You can taste the sun (from southern most Italy) in every glass. — 2 years ago
Wine in a juice box! What’s not to love? Picked this up in a french supermarket and it’s a just a handy way of having cooking wine on hand in small doses. — 2 years ago

Valrian - a medium sweet Spanish wine in a handy juice box. Hilarious packaging but perfect for cooking a risotto and definitely ok as a mid day glassful if nicely chilled. — 2 years ago

My mates and I nicknamed this “health wine” as the Tanant grape famously has a very high level of antioxidants. Worth the £7 regardless and it’s a distinct medium to slightly heavier bodied quaff. — 2 years ago
