I would not have guessed this is Merlot if tasted blind. More like a good cab with 10-15 year age. Green pepper, fresh cut grass, fig, touch of oak on the nose. Green pepper carried through on the palate together with candied dates and spices. Earthy and polished. First time to try a Merlot from down under. — 8 years ago
