Very good Chardonnay. Tasmania? Who know? Gotta go. — 2 years ago
Rhône and rigor... yummy, earthy, umami... mushrooms and broth. Light tannins. The edges of dark fruit as they stretch towards vegetation. An adventure I’d embark on again. — 4 years ago
13 years young. still has life. Tannins and fruits still doing their job in harmony. Delicious. — 5 months ago
With CSR and ES perfect match for simple Asian food. — 2 years ago
This wine is dark in color. It smells like it has been perfumed, with ripe red berries, plums and cherries on the nose. The fruit is layered over an herbal note, but not anything like bell pepper or peas. It smells like cedar trees. The nose of a Paso Cab always grabs me, and this one does it to the fullest. The palate is simply beautiful. Whenever I start thinking I could get along with ten dollar wines, along comes a wine like this one to show me the folly of that thought. The fruit flavors tend toward the dark side, while sweet oak provides a beautiful lift. The tannins are silky smooth, even upon opening the bottle. The winery says you’d better have some seared lamb to pair with it. — 4 months ago
Beautiful summer Chardonnay. Quite floral with lots of green apple and lime that blends into a vanilla caramel — 4 years ago
