In this year there was no Studio in Bianco made, due to the less favorable weather conditions (hence: “Sol Minore”). In 2014 we are offered an intriguing blend of Friulano, Riesling and Sauvignon. Works like a charm. Refreshing, mediumplus body, developing real depth and character now. Love it.

For a Rosso ‘Normale’ (Riserva’s / Selezione’s have a green label here) of this age, this is very satisfying and tasty. Unpretentious yet complex, well aged, pure fun.
Sweet fig jam nuances, crunchy forest fruit, Italian herbs, savory notes of development, medium bodied.

I drink Borgo del Tiglio whenever I can. The 2016 is a big wine, on the edge of being alcoholic, and not terribly varietal, but it really comes together with a bit of air. — 6 years ago
