1997 bondi santi which I brought to French laundry. Tasting perfection — 6 years ago
Delicious and easy to drink. Would have again. Drank at the Italian in Bondi with the scoppas. — 8 years ago
Surprisingly fantastic bottle of Pinot in an unassuming package! — 10 years ago
Well, I’m a bit mixed on this one. Upon opening and drinking half the bottle we thought it was a bit grapey. Put it in the fridge for a couple of days and it definitely seems better than the first night. Aromas of red fruits, earthy, and spices. On the bud, it has a nice finish with red cherry, currants, and a spice note. — 8 months ago
A full-body Pinot! Deep Ruby with berry aromas, floral and garden spice. On the palate ripe strawberry and dried cherry fruit with vanilla spice and cedar notes. The wine is well structured, silky smooth tannins, balanced acidity carry the wine to a lingering spicy finish. Very Nice! — 5 years ago
I pulled into the driveway of this winery in Napa a few years back on a lark. A few days ago, I saw this bottle at Bondi in Bed Stuy and bought it remembering the excellent tasting that knocked more famous wineries low. Burgess is cut into a hillside on Howell Mountain and is one of the older privately owned wineries in Napa. This bottle is ready to drink. Blackberry, espresso, and herbaceous notes of anise and mint. Full-bodied and a steal at the $21 I paid for it. — 9 years ago
Oh man does that 15.2% alcohol bust through. Even with a chill this wine is super hot.
Smells fresher and younger than it's 2007 Bondi Home Ranch counterpart. I guess that bulb in alcohol and new oak helps.
Nose is bing cherry, cola and oak. Palate is blasted candied cherry, anise, cedar, baking spice. — 4 years ago
Fab for the price. — 5 years ago
What a pinot! For all the nonbelievers about Cali Pinot, they haven't had this one. Bouquet of cherry cola. Entry of cherry cola and herb. Acidic and beautiful together. Finish of herbal red cherry cola. Best aged pinot I have had. Words just cannot describe this one fully, but x 's rating probably will :) — 6 years ago

Sunday lunch with the annual boys trip away for the Rugby where the Wallabies had a win over Wales last weekend. Lunch at top notch Sydney restaurant Icebergs at Bondi Beach. I picked this one from the extensive Wine List from young gun Joshua Cooper who has some famous neighbours in the Macedon Ranges like Bindi and Curly Flat. This was more full bodied than I was expecting but got the thumbs up from all the Rugby fans who ordered a 2nd bottle. A generous Pinot showing ripe red fruits and plenty of whole bunch character. — 4 months ago
