2021 vintage. A good value blend from 8 grape varieties ( Barbera, Freisa, Bonarda, Dolcetto, Albarossa, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Syrah), made by the huge Piemontese Dezzani estate (1000 hectares). Uncomplicated, soft, fruity wine, with a little sweetness. Abv. 13,5%. — 4 months ago

Barbera 2002. Nose: Cherry, moss. Taste: ripe cherry, earthy funk almost. I don’t think I’ve ever tasted anything like this but I really enjoyed. I feel like through the earthiness you can really taste the age of the wine. Overall really enjoyed and curious about trying more barbera. — 16 days ago

Light, strawberry notes on a surprisingly balanced (full) wine. Many notes like straw, citrus shavings and a touch of raspberry jam, without sweetness. Would definitely drink again. — 7 months ago

One of my favorite wines to have with basic pasta with tomato sauces (with or without meat) is Argentine Bonarda. Unfortunately we’re overrun with effing Malbec and Bonarda remains hard to find in the states, even though it’s widely grown in Argentina. This has the classic dark, purply color. Tangy dark mountain berries, crushed rocks, and bitter herbs on the nose. A blast of flavor initially, fading quickly into lingering minerals and acids. (A flavor profile that just works with the aforementioned pasta.). Cheap and good. Glad I stumbled on this. (Not sure why @Delectable Wine published my notes a second time as a comment 🤷) — 20 hours ago
