Praised by Jancis Robinson as one of the benchmark verdejo wines from the Rueda region, this pré-Phylloxera wine from sandy soils is filled with tropical fruit, sharp minerality and decent length. Not my preferred grape variety but I can taste the quality here compared to the formulated mass produced supermarket wines from this region that I've come across until now. 93 points for the technical quality of the wine, 91 points from pleasure perspective — 2 years ago

Celler Comunica is a wine project created in 2002 by oenologists Pep Aguilar & Patric Murillo. Blend of 80% Grenache and 20% Carignan, aged 6 mos in stainless and 2 mos in egg shaped deposits. Light Ruby with aromas of fresh red fruits and bits of earthy spice. On the palate flavors of raspberry and cherry, some white pepper, good structure and balance. Fine tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit character. An easy drinking wine, great value! — 5 years ago
