Its so easy to lose sight sometimes. We spend so much time these days focusing on the old world, the forgotten, tradition, ect, that it sometimes feels like we ignore the new. Even when the new has history. Compiled with yesterday's Felton road chard and today's weinert, these are wines that I am embarrassed to say, I don't give enough credit too. I need to explore more. I will explore more...
back to the wine! This is awesome. The least overt of the two cuvees this focuses more on spice and savory. Planted on two separate parcel side-by-side and the same Vineyard and Robertson, these two are made identically according to "inside sources", and couldn't be further apart. — 6 years ago
Nose of cream and ripe plums and red cherries, slight chocolate, slight black pepper. Taste of burnt chocolate, red fruit, some purple fruit notes, cream, very slight bell peppers or some other green. Interesting depth but ever so slightly out of balance. Definitely fun secondary notes developing. — 7 months ago

Pretty great, mellow for a Malbec but really well integrated. Lush fruit, silky tannins, cedar chips. — 9 months ago

Nothing better than finding wines in cellar I didn't know I had — 6 years ago

Surprisingly good. Friends described it as “spicy.” A bit sweet, with notes of vanilla. — 3 months ago
