Drank in August 2021. At 6 years old, excellent depth, deep ruby color and a finish that lingers well. Pared well with pasta and red meat. Nice nose and overall a very good Barbera. — 5 years ago
Very pleased that this 2009 vintage tasted better than the disappointing 2010 vintage I had a few months ago. Muscular and interesting, with enough fruit, tannin and alcohol remaining after 11 years to demonstrate its Central Coast origins. Enjoyed this with a pared down Thanksgiving dinner of Julia Child’s Caneton aux Cerises instead of turkey. A calculated risk, and worth it. — 6 years ago
Nice Sicilian insolia. Lovely citrus on the palate. 2018 vintage in August 2020. Pared well with lasagna. Great wine to sip in summer. — 6 years ago

Nice super Tuscan. Drank the 2011 vintage in 2020. Pared well with pasta dishes and steak. Smooth nice fruit. Because of the age it does need to breath for a while. — 6 years ago

Wonderful primitivo from Salento region. The nose is amazing and fills the senses with berries. Pared well with pasta and holds its own with a steak. 2013 vintage in February 2021. Very smooth with a taste of berries that lingers. — 5 years ago
Speechless! Long, lonely afternoon with 2-hour family Zoom...pared down trad turkey feast with just the two of us. But, hard to feel down with a glass of Selosse Rose. Such finesse and balance... I searched two years for a source... and now I swallow hard and purchase in 3’s. Easily the best Rose in my Champagne history. — 6 years ago

2019 vintage. Decanted and tasted after 5 minutes. Medium-medium heavy body. Fairly fleshy. Big primary fruit with little nuance evident currently. Would probably be happier with this in 5-8 years where the nuance would have crept in and the overt fruit pared down a bit. 05.28.25. — a year ago
