Was told last year when I tried to schedule a visit they charge everyone an “experience” fee, which is non-refundable, and is charged regardless of how much wine is purchased…I passed. Too bad, I enjoy their wines.
@Shay A I have more recently been selecting wineries offering food&wine combo pairings for visits, so not expecting a refund.....though, this one was basically just a tasting (included a small meat/cheese plate) and yes there was no tasting fee discount for the wines I purchased.

I looked at my last posting of this (from 4/2016) and stand by my notes.
I absolutely LOVE the various Single Vineyard Abreu's which to my palate are some of the most awesome wines coming out of Napa but I just don't see a resemblance to this 2nd label?
At $125 (if I remember correct) on the Mailing List I'll rather enjoy the $375/425 spent on the real thing.
I used to think this was a "super second" but at this point Blankiet's Prince of Hearts or Bryant DB-4 takes the prize for me.

Hard to beat Blankiet and you are right on the Abreu's.

Consistently great wine that is awesome with any meal that contains cheese. Seriously, you want to have this wine with either cheese appetizers or pizza. Absolutely fantastic!! — 9 years ago

Blankiet Estate tasting...wonderful restrained Napa style wines... Graeme Macdonald (Macdonald vineyards) winemaker since 2016. Julian was a knowledgeable terrific host.
