My thanks to Bryon Corbett for brining this lesser known wine last night at an amazing speakeasy in Atlanta. An Abreu cuvée with a nice complexity. Decanted for at least an hour certainly helped. It continued to develop in the glass to expose dark berry and coffee. Could still stay in the bottle for many years.

I looked at my last posting of this (from 4/2016) and stand by my notes.

I absolutely LOVE the various Single Vineyard Abreu's which to my palate are some of the most awesome wines coming out of Napa but I just don't see a resemblance to this 2nd label?

At $125 (if I remember correct) on the Mailing List I'll rather enjoy the $375/425 spent on the real thing.

I used to think this was a "super second" but at this point Blankiet's Prince of Hearts or Bryant DB-4 takes the prize for me.

....just my $0.02

I'm a BIG fan of Abreu but am also proud to say that I'm not a label-drinker unless it performs.
Tonight this didn't....
A very good wine with potential and perhaps just caught too early so I'm saving the rest of my stash for a few more years.

Great for $100-125.00, I was expecting a tight & tannic bomb considering my 08 needed tons of air & years, not the case with the 12.
Actuality tightens up after the bottle is open for awhile., drank great on P&P, give it a few more years.
