At Bricco celebrating Dana's swearing in. Dry, earthy, needed an hour. — 7 months ago
Notes of balsam & herbs and black, cherry blackberry fruit. Round, soft supple, warm with spice and licorice. Well integrated tannins. Drink now or hold. Excellent. — 8 days ago
Rounded but refreshing, mineral driven, some orchard fruits. Nice everyday drinker. — 5 months ago
Another bottle I forgot to get a picture of in situ. Made from Tinta Negra in canteiro. A caramel glaze about to burned brown color, veering into golden brown at the rim. Utterly mouthwatering (and I should say nose quivering) aromas of caramel, brown sugar, sugarcane, molasses, coffee, and dark chocolate, plus a hint of earth and smoke. It is sweet, oh yes, it is, but the acid is bracing. The palate confirms the nose with the addition of caramelized grapefruit, figs, dates and cocoa. Geez Louise, it’s good. Almost cola on the finish. — a year ago
Straw colored. Sweet citrus aromas. Full bodied, ripe, citrus flavors. Hint of bitter almonds. Nice acidity. Long finish.
Very nice Sicilian white wine.

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of 90min. The 2020 Langhe Nebbiolo “Pian delle Mole” pours a pale garnet with a transparent core; medium viscosity with no staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of tart and ripe red fruits: Morello cherry, loads of tar, dusty earth. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannin and medium acid. Confirming the notes from the nose though the red fruits show more like ripe strawberry. Finish is medium. Drink now. — 4 months ago

Dark amber. Treacle, toffee, and tangelo on the inviting nose and full, rich palate. "Rich" meaning "sweet," of course, but well balanced with medium, citrusy acidity. Naturally, a lengthy finish. You got cheese? Nuts? Dried fruit? Here's your fourth for dessert. Drink now through whenever. — 22 days ago
