Quite special. Brambly, but not rustic. Elegant, but not polished. Bright and dark red fruits. Depth and length, but balanced weight. Magically expresses all of Nielluccio’a elements. Approachable now and has the structure for ongoing aging. — 25 days ago
Love love love this. Another treat from Campus Fine Wines in Providence. Light, dry, with a little mineral, citrus & honey. I’d like to serve it with sole or crab, sweet carrots, baby lettuce. Would be a lovely summer lunch wine — 3 months ago

Nose has perfectly ripe cherries, white pepper, dehydrated strawberry, dry tobacco, old dusty oak firewood and anise spice notes.
Palate has sweet cherry, licorice, dried tart cherries, dried strawberries, great acid/fruit tension, medium tannins with a fantastic never-ending finish. What a great example of the ultimate mountain Nebbiolo!
Second vintage produced, with 2016 being the first release. 1250 bottles produced.
Cork pulled for slow oxidation 8H, then decanted 3H, more bottle time appreciated. 2027-32+
Wonderfully paired to a homemade Bolognese over Pappardelle. — a month ago
Very nice Loire SB. Minerals and lemony bouquet. More assertive than Sancerre. Went very well with Pacific Sole — 3 months ago
On the nose, green apple, underripe green pear, grass, tarragon, green pea, wet stone, cat pee (!!!). On the palate, minerally, stoney, some orchard fruit.
What a beautiful savory wine. Lots of mineral and herbal notes upfront with that classic sauvignon "cat pee" smell. Delicious with sole meunière! — 4 months ago
Giovane e non come il solito — a month ago
Terrific, though very young, wine. Nose takes some airing to emerge. Then, rich dark cherry fruit, complemented with lots of warm sandstoney scents, cracked rocks, and exotic spice notes. In the mouth it’s tightly wound, but shows really good concentration and depth, with excellent acidity and (of course) lots of youthful, but fine-grained, tannin. Really good now, but will improve for at least 5 or more years. Rating is 9.3+. Really nice with Marchegiani pasticciata, an eye of the round that’s larded and then braised with vegetables, red wine, and tomatoes, then sliced and braised some more! — 3 months ago
