In 2019 Alma Carraovejas, known from the Ribera del Duero winery Pago de Carraovejas, acquired Viña Meín from the Ribeiro region in Galicia, owned by the legendary winemaker Emilio Rojo. The purpose of the acquisition was to preserve ancient vineyards and highlighting traditional Galician grape varieties. This Meín O Gran contains quite some Galician grape varieties: 80% Treixadura, 4% Albariño, 4% Torrontés, 3% Caíño Blanco, 3% Godello, 3% Lado, 3% Loureira Blanca.
The wine is fresh, clean, minerally, with white fruit flavours of green apple, ripe peach, pear and a hint of fresh herbs. Delicious. — 2 days ago

Cume do Avia’s premium white, the 2019 Branco dos Canotos is a blend of Lado, Caíño Blanco, Albariño, Loureira Blanca from 10-15 years old vines. Complex, quite unusual nose with aromas of hay and pistachio. Citrus flavors on the palate. Dry, mineral, vibrant, racy acidity. Nice saline, slightly bitter finish. — 5 years ago

こちらもワイン見聞録福袋のスペイン白、2022年もの。通常価格4290円という高級品。トレイシャドゥーラ52%、アルバリーニョ20%、ラド10%、カイーニョ・ブランコ8%、ルレイラ8%、ゴデージョ2%とかよく知らない品種で構成。冷涼ながらふくよかで、ミネラル感、軽い発泡感もちょうどよい。アフターも長く感じられ、こりゃ美味しい。セールで見つけたらまた買おう。
