I bought this bottle for a discount as the owner of the shop thought that it was developing a bit of funk. Well, one man's funk is another man's pleasure. I'm not a natural wine dude by a long shot (check the review of any natty wine in my profile!) But this funk is my cup of tea. VA is present and I didn't taste the wine before and maybe the VA masks some of the finer notes but the flavors that it imparts are honeyed vinegar -actually a wonderful balance- think of switchel made with honey instead of molasses- appealingly drinkable. — 10 months ago
The term ‘L’Egerie’ is French for ‘muse’ as Chris Peterson has crafted another stunning new Rose wine, blending 65% Grenache and 35% Mourvedre. Showing off its beautiful pale color, the wine opens with really good aromatic range, from salted Marcona almond to ripe strawberry, as well as melon and shades of Mandarin orange zest that all combine on the nose. The silky texture truly entices and collects momentum with the wonderful bright minerality of the wine. Elegant, yet showing good depth, the wine unveils bright red raspberry, strawberry and honeydew melon flavors that connect with the great sense of minerality. This finishes extremely long. Try to get your hands on this while it lasts. Drink 2019-2026- 92 — 5 years ago

Wonderfully peppery, dark fruit flavors smooth tannins — 5 years ago
Silky blackberry and vanilla flavors. The oak is well-integrated and there’s a pleasant acidity as well. Long finish, and definitely enjoyable. — 6 years ago

This one is really starting to shine, my friends.
Dark plums, cassis and cherries. Coffee grounds, tobacco leaf and cedar. A ripe tannine structure and a cooler kind of freshness in the core makes this highly drinkable, alluring and exciting.
