Tad acidic finish but light and delicious — 8 years ago
Rich gold, cloudy with large visible orange particles; lemon, orange, band-aid, brown butter nose; tastes relatively alcoholic balanced by high acid and a little astringency. From monsieur henri paris. Chablis aligote in amphora. — 9 years ago
Rubens Chablis. Acids are not sharp and pointy but fat and rounded. Unique mouthfeel. Great wine from an enclosed vineyard near the town of Béru. Grapes are coming from this vineyard since the 13th century. I'm glad Athénaïs stopped banking and started doing this. — 11 years ago
Dynamite. In the right place. Smooth. No screeching acidity. Round. Enticing! — 7 years ago
Produced by Athenais Béru of Chateau de Béru. Tasting pour at Raw Wine LA about two weeks ago. I was wondering why a Burgundy Chablis producer would be making s Provence Vermentino, but turns out it was because their Chardonnay crop was wiped out by frost in 2016, so they had to look elsewhere for grapes. We really enjoyed this one. — 8 years ago
Citrusy floral nose and mouth... Light and elegant 35£.. — 13 years ago
Tasted blind while knowing the list of wines. Guessed the bottle. A beautiful bouquet of bloody orange, red fruits, a few drops of calm horse's sweat, red flowers, hibiscus and dogwood. Delicate, sophisticated, medium-light body, juicy. It's beautiful, vibrant yet too young.
