Color light brown almost. Clearly Nebbiolo on the nose - burned caramel, jam, almost like an aged Barolo but the acidity surprises and takes you through to soft tannin and a very long finish. good stuff but don’t get the burgundy comparison — 3 months ago
Very smooth. Northern Nebbiolo like the Arpepe last Sunday. — 9 months ago

Got a taste of this some five days post-opening. Any fruit on the nose appeared to have faded, leaving behind mushroomy and leathery tones. But the palate was quite vibrant, sporting juicy red berries, peppery notes, some minerality, and a menthol-like finish. There's a touch of discernable VA, whether it's because it's been open for so long or an inherent wine character, I don't know. Regardless, it wasn't much of a distraction. An enjoyable glass but I definitely would like to drink this from a fresher bottle next time. — 7 months ago

Needed a few minutes to open up but wonderfully aromatic and silky smooth. Sour cherry with floral and herbal aromatics. — 3 days ago
