1995 Case Basse Di Gianfranco Soldera Intistieti Riserva Brunello Di Montalcino. First red wine of the night at David Gray/Amos Lee concert. First time trying this wine for both of us and we really liked it. Less acidity than the other Soldera we usually drink. Great wine and great food wine. Divides opinion but I thought this was super interesting. A touch of oak, vanilla and cherry on the nose, almost cola-esque. Bright fruits. Cherry & strawberry transforms into an almost Syrah-like depth with fine tannins. Exceptional. — 7 years ago
