Dying a quiet death. Lemon pie, powdered sweet tarts, apple on the nose but a suggestion of heat as well. Fruit is slipping away with palate reflecting the oak/alcohol...finish is short, pear & apple peaking thru.

Took a while to settle down but after a few hours it was crisp, floral with a nice long finish

2006 Aubert Lauren Vineyards Chardonnay. Second white wine of the night at David Gray/Amos Lee concert. So different from the Domaine Laflaive, which had more minerality, while this had more buttery oak. Great wine and we really enjoyed it.

Great acidity with Aubert cloudiness. Lemon curd, some orange blossom and creme brûlée. Love it.
