Amelia Park

Margaret River Cabernet Merlot 2018

Plagiarised this a bit but perfect description Purple, almost black, and dense in colour, it is warm and inviting with typical Margaret River's terroir notes of eucalypt, Aussie bush, bay leaf, all sorts/licorice confection, spice and ripe black fruits. Plush and seamless. — 3 years ago

Daydreamer

Amelia Syrah Viognier 2021

A funny choice to put on the wine list for a Mediterranean restaurant, but very nice for what it is... On the nose this is first an foremost honeyed... A very soft raspberry... On the palate, the raspberry is front and center but concentrated... Like really concentrated... Like fruit roll up concentrated... It burns a bit... No candied elements... This is the real deal. I like it. — 2 years ago

Last Rites Cabernet Sauvignon 2017

An Australian Cab! Really nice legs, and a gorgeous, opaque deep purple color. Ripe and earthy on the nose. Almost tart, but in a nice way with a well-balanced finish and lingering bright fruit. Certainly not your typical Cabernet, but I'm happy with it! — 3 years ago

Il Borro

Toscana Red Blend 2015

Fantastic and reasonably priced, rich and big-bodied Tuscan. Lots of wood and beef blood with a jammy component. Compelling nose of brambly dark red fruit. Leather all about, which shouldn’t surprise anyone in a wine made by Ferragamo... I’d give this a year or two to sort out, score likely to improve.
