„Let‘s take a elegant pinot noir from the Büdner Herrschaft! I know the producer, one of the best in this region!“

One of the best Chardonnay’s Danny has ever had! Who knew? Italy! Not oak-y. Crisp. Super drinkable. EAT IT WITH FONDUE WHILE PRETENDING YOU ARE IN THE SWISS ALPS WITH YOUR SWISS FRIEND LUCA. or on a Monday night in HK at a Black Sheep Chalet pop-up. Whatever your fancy. Who cares if it’s cheap? It’s delicious. — 3 years ago
Fratelli Serio Battista Borgogno Albarella Barolo 2020, Piedmont, Italy
Pale ruby in color with light intensity.
Pretty nose of wild flowers, red fruits and tobacco notes.
Medium bodied with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with cherries, currants, light plums, black pepper, earth, light vegetables, herbs, light oak, black coffee and wet leaves.
Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.
This is a delicious Barolo. Smooth, soft and yummy right out of the bottle. Complex, with nice balance and elegance.
Still very young and has good potential to become a 94+ point wine. Will age nicely in the next 10 to 15 years.
This Single Vineyard is elegant, spicy and entertaining. Good by itself or with food.
100% Nebbiolo grapes were aged in large oak barrels for 30 months.
14% alcohol by volume.
92 points.
