2006 vintage. 426 cases produced, 3rd vintage from Jonata. Good fill and excellent (if slightly dry) cork. Decanted with little sed and tasted after 2.25 hours. Whiffable, earthy nose. Light-medium body. Tremendous, dark cherry concentration flavor-wise. A token offering of richness perceived just behind the front teeth on the roof of the mouth/palate. Good right out the bottle and stayed that way for a couple of days. What a nice grape! Very underrated. Medium body with a bit of spice. Sweet with a balanced tannin. Day 2 showed more acidity which improved it further. Excellent vino. — 7 days ago
