I’m a fan of A.F. Gros Richebourg but at £500+ it’s out of reach these days so this cheaper £44 easy drinking younger number will have to do 😉 Good on it’s own but would pair with Lamb or Duck perfectly 😁 3-5 years will reward to 👍

Little bit of a barnyard nose with a hint of bright cherry. Nice little wine for the value. I wish it had a little more complexity to it though. Lots of bright cherry with a hint of herb in the mouth. This one is growing on me. — 8 years ago

Clear, pale ruby in color; on the nose, it’s clean with pronounced primary aromas of black cherries, dried strawberries, and tobacco; on the palate, it's dry with high acidity, medium tannins, medium alcohol, medium body, and pronounced primary flavors of red fruit roll-ups, blueberries, hibiscus, and tar with a long finish. This wine is balanced and complex. Overall, I rate this wine as very good. Nellie didn't like it. — 3 days ago
