Vintage 2017 | I am fond of frivolous young Rioja, but seldom recognize them blind. To be honest, that frivolity and some raspberry in smell made me think: a Cru de Beaujolais. But this Rioja has its own qualities. Some cacao in taste, tannins still, good balance. Have to drink more of it to recognize. — 4 years ago
Smokin’ good! Fresh, but complex. Will age for years. — 3 months ago
What an intense and powerful Rioja. Blend of Tempranillo (85%), Graciano (10%) and Mazuelo (5%). Aromas of red and black cherry/currant fruit with hints of herbs, violets and dry earth. Pallet notes more black berry/currant and plum fruit with notes of chocolate, black tea, baking spices and herbs. Not overly oaky (French Oak aging?) Nice depth with a bit of a creamy texture. Dusty tannins and quite dry. — a year ago

2024 spring / summer. Really good - an image of what white Rioja in a relatively classical style can be — 2 months ago
17.5. Rich but not complex nose. Very full on palate, great fruit, sufficient acidity, no tannins. Quite delicious. — 3 years ago

Sipping Fine Wine
Aged for 14 months in new oak barrels 28% American and the rest French. Deep Ruby with aromas of berry fruit, floral, spice and flinty notes. On the palate flavors of plum, blueberry and cherry with licorice and vanilla spice, well balanced. Soft fine tannins, long finish ending with fruit, mineral and slight oaky tones. Very Nice! — a month ago
