Blend of 32% Cabernet Franc, 32% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot and 6% Petit Verdot, deep Ruby with aromas of black fruit, smoky notes and cigar spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry, currants and cedar with tobacco, spice and earthy herbs. Fine smooth tannins, long finish ending with fruit, cedar, mineral and earthy notes. A delight, will age well! — 2 years ago

Plush and rounded with that plummy intensity of merlot. Hints of violet and mint. Underlying minerality. A real purity and intensity but not particularly subtle. Quite alcoholic with a whiff of burn on the finish. — 6 years ago
Medium deep ruby , thin pink , violet rim . Spicier nose than the Sassicaia , with blackberry , sweet oak , cassis , raspberry jam , touch of spice, mint , grafite . On the palate this is a little juicier than the Sassicaia with sweeter fruit, but shows good balance , blackberry , cassis , rosemary , grafite notes . Polished tannins and balanced acidity . Good length , with grafite finish . This is actually showing quite well , though young , even better in 5 -8 years and will go well a further 10 or so — 3 months ago
Really nice. Earthy, rich chocolate and cherry-herb nose with supple palate. Very closed and very young, but gives more immediate pleasure than any young Sassicaia I've tried and more sophisticated than Biserno. Not quite as self-important a wine as Sassicaia and probably all the better for it. — 11 years ago

What a lovely wine! The nose is a bit deceiving of what is coming upon the first sip and it just keeps getting better! Extremely smooth and the full flavors seem to be delayed and then just swell at the back of the throat and on the tongue. This is Tuscan wine that is truly “super Tucsan”! No wonder it has a solid 93 points across the board! — 3 days ago
