Blend of 38% Merlot, 17% Cabernet Franc, 22% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Petit Verdot and 8% Other Red Grapes, deep Ruby color with aromas of dark fruits with herb and toasty oak notes. On the palate flavors of blackberry and cherry with smoke, tar and sweet herb spice. This is a full-bodied red that wraps thickly over the palate, showing rich density and concentration along the way. Really nice. Earthy, rich chocolate and cherry-herb nose with supple palate. Very closed and very young, but gives more immediate pleasure than any young Sassicaia I've tried and more sophisticated than Biserno.
