Sicilian doc tasting 🇮🇹 🍷 single vineyard estate. Aged 26 mo. 60/40 Perricone/Nero — 3 months ago
Molto piacevole anche se “banale”. Ben fatto e da bere — 7 months ago
About 50/50 Perracone and Nero d'Avola.
Dark violet. Red currant and sour pie cherries, some dried fruit leather aspect to the fruit.
A bit more structured, but still very fine grained an approachable. From higher elevation vineyards that contributes to finesse. — a year ago
In Sicily so drinking a Sicilian wine. 25€ from the restaurant wine list. An ok wine but would try something different next time. — 21 days ago
Sicilian doc tasting 🇮🇹 🍷 inzolia/Sauvignon blanc — 3 months ago
Light easy drinking — 9 months ago
Smells of mulberries with initial salvo of intense strawberries. Long, evolving finish that silks away with some tabacco and maybe even a fat green olive, some black pepper on the pallett. In this 7-year old vintage, tannins have all mellowed. — 3 months ago
Notes of sea spray, citrus, and almond hit you immediately with subtler aromas of vanilla and cream in the background. Lovely, lesser known white that has some elements of Southern Italian whites and many of a fine Chardonnay. — 4 months ago
Phenomenal
