Earthy complex but smooth friendly cab. We drank it with a bone in ribeye, fries, roasted broccoli and gyozas — 3 years ago
v08. Beautiful. Deep, deep purple color. Fragrant dusty, boot leather nose. Smooth, juicy, black currant and cassis fruit. Dry, chewy, pleasantly astringent finish. Fantastic steak wine. — 3 months ago
Tropical fruit but while that might imply heaviness and oak, this is actually a really nicely balanced Chardonnay. Beautifully rounded in the mouth and a long graceful finish. It's all pleasure with the Stonestreet Upper Barn from 2017.
Incidentally, this is the first wine we've had since returning to Manhattan after five and a half months away. This bottle certainly helped smooth the edges on a fairly rough week of readjustment. — 9 months ago
My new favorite Chard. Use to be Rombaeur. Smooth mild soft fruit with avg oak. Big winner. — 4 years ago
