Legacy Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon Blend
Alexander Valley, Sonoma County, California, USA
Primarily Cabernet Sauvignon with some Cabernet Franc and Petite Verdot blended in. Dark ruby color. Aromas of kirsh, violet, basil and forest floor. Dark berry/cherry fruit drives the palate with additional flavors of cocoa, graphite and dried herbs. Long finish but the tannins are a bit chewy and harsh. Full bodied and slightly out of balance. A bit disappointing. Part of Capital Grille’s 2024 Generous Pour Program.
