@Delectable Wine - This is Storybook’s relatively new “Bottled Poetry” Napa Estate Zinfandel. It’s delicious. Nose is identifiably Zin, with ripe blackberry/black raspberry fruit, supplemented by crushed gravel, a shill of sweet vanilla, and spice. Intense fruit is first on the palate, though the wine is not heavy or jammy at all. Turns leaner and more structured as the palate goes on. Great purity. The fruit profile is different than an elegant Brunello, but in other respects that’s the vibe it gives off. Great Zin. — 7 months ago

Nice to find this as impressive at home as it was in the winery's 19th century caves. Classic viognier on the nose, fleshy, stone fruit, green apple and enough acidity. Really tasty wine. — 7 years ago
