This is a nice red blend from Napa Valley. Doesn't show like one, but it is drinking very nicely now.
Was probably better a couple of years ago, but I really enjoyed the nose. A nice entry level to Napa reds.
Dry on the palate with medium plus acidity.
Showing red and black fruits with chocolates, earth, light vegetables, pencil lead, peppercorn and tobacco.
Needs 90 minutes to open up properly, but lost it pretty fast.
13.5% alcohol by volume.

Nice casual Chardonnay. Grest everyday wine — 2 months ago
Last bottle. Classic varietal scents on the nose, restrained, underscored by forest floor. Carmine color, with ever so slightly bricking on the rim. Some cherry and strawberry on the palate, starting to give way to tertiary flavors. Medium acidity, and subtle tannins, almost fully resolved. Great balance, in a beautiful spot right now. Tremendous value. — 10 days ago
Food flexible. Super smooth. Brings me back to my first taste next to the pond under the old oaks. — a month ago
What an enjoyable wine, very integrated with dark fruits and licorice and a smooth finish. This bottle was recorked years ago. This is my last bottle of several I bought years ago and the best one by far. I guess it needed all 22 years to come around. — 2 months ago
A deep ruby in the glass with a decadent nose full of cassis & cocoa. The pallate brings forward tart pomegranate, hibiscus, with nutmeg & milk chocolate undertones throughout the finish. Not at all what I was expecting from this Pinot, but quite lovely in it's own right. Paired outstanding with an anniversary dinner of pheasant & striped bass! ($45) [11/12/20] — 22 days ago
