Marston Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 1994

This reminds me of all the great components of the Beringer PR that Ed Sbragia made. It is elegant and has aged beautifully. — 3 years ago

Still elegant and balanced. Lovely fruit with warm secondary characteristics. What a delight! An Ed Sbragia wine? — 4 years ago

Absolutely love that wine - back when they had a ton of vineyard specific bottling.

Beringer Vineyards

KVR Knights Valley Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2012

In its third century of crafting wines from Napa, Beringer is guided by the partnership of Winemaster Emeritus Ed Sbragia and Winemaker Laurie Hook.
Founded by Jacob Beringer, Vineyard was established in 1876. Dark Ruby with rich aromas ripe dark fruits with sweet spice and cedar notes. On the palate blackberry and cherry with licorice and cacao, well integrated and balanced acidity. Soft tannins, great mouthfeel, long finish, aged well. Nice!!

Dry Creek Valley Red Blend 2016

Color of dull purple, bubbly and clear. Nose of ripe cherry, almost cherry jam like, tobacco leaves, oily paint, slightly crayon, a bit oak, and some more blackberry. Nose is quite plenty and hints sweetness. Taste of follows the nose with the sweet bite from cherry and dark fruits, drizzled with soft tannins, black pepper, tobacco leaves, a bit vanilla, and medicinal note. Aftertaste is long with zest, peppery, and some herbs note. Done well. Not sure why the rating is low. — 3 years ago

Gino's Estate Zinfandel 2012

On its last legs but still very enjoyable. Licorice on the nose, with hints of dusty strawberry and bread. Might benefit from opening up a little in the glass. If you have a 2012, drink now...don’t wait! — 5 years ago
