Lively little bubbles! Old gold in color, has that typical yeasty sort of funky in a positive way champagne scent. I think I can also smell honey and maybe lemon. Dry yeasty sort of old world luxurious flavor. Delicious and a nice example of what champagne is supposed to be. — 2 months ago
A hint of bread and a little yeast but crisp and bright. Ends through bubbles. At Bandana’s South African wine tasting. — a month ago

Light straw with a plethora of tiny bubbles. Distinctively Clouet from beginning to end. An attractive bouquet of vanilla and smoke, with red apples and butter. Plenty of dried cherries and oak to go with the citrus and floral aromas.
Powerful and direct with finesse and character, that’s the Clouet trademark. Equal parts Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from Bouzy. Nice, smooth acidity and a more than generous nature, as always. The palate is delectable with salted butter, citrus, and ripe red fruits. Yet another hit for one of my favorite producers.
