First vintage from Hobbs.
I expected better from this producer. No complaints, but no glowing remarks either. — 15 days ago
Light ruby colour evoking Pinot-noir.
Beautiful nose that pinote on raspberry and especially vegetable notes: anise, fennel, herbs, dried flowers etc. Delicate mouth with fine tannins, but nevertheless with beautiful chewing material, return of raspberry and pepper in the finish. The perfect Beaujolais bourguignon. I love it!
J’adore! — 4 days ago
Dark ruby; supple nose of small black and red berries, lightly fried bacon, pound cake, violets, alkaloids, and some new oak; fresh minty with medium acids on the taste and just so darn good, the balance between power and elegance skewed towards the latter. Dutch cheeses accompanied this twin-wine. — 22 days ago
Final btl. Unscrewed on the 17th, notes from the 19th. Just stunning on days 1 and 2 and far and away the best showing I've had for this wine. Very mild signs of oxidation on day 3 open (unrefrigerated on the counter overnight in between). On the nose: black tea, dried strawberry, wet leaf, spice. On the palate: fantastic acidity, wild strawberry, earthy herbals, with a touch of decay/oxidation and the softest hint of tannin on the finish. Absolutely lovely. — 10 days ago
Apple lemonade, with nice toast and minerality. Laser focused, creamy, and generous. Good value for Champagne. — 7 days ago

lovely bottle of old riesling. rich golden raisin color in the glass. primary fruit and acid has completely receded in favor of dried fruits and peels. dried peach, gold raisins, orange peel, lemon peel, etc. the sugar stands out here because the acid is gone. — 6 days ago
