From magnum and served after the Chardonnay challenge last Saturday. Meaty - savoury and delicious - very Northern Rhone. Vibrant and strong for a 20 year old wine, admittedly from Magnum. Went down well with the Chardonnay tasters. — 2 months ago

Took a an hour or so to develop the green bell pepper note I was looking for. Smooth and balanced. Not quite the depth an old school Loire cab franc may provide, but slightly less tannic than those and easy to enjoy. Would decant next time—suspect there is more there. — 2 months ago

Pale lemon. One the nose- apple, pear, peach, citrus, and a grassy/herbaceous note that I can’t put my finger on. Burst of grapefruit and pineapple with some minerality on the palate. Medium body. Nice, zesty acidity. Was a bit tight at first out of the bottle. Best to let it breathe a bit and losen up some. Fun and cheeky wine! — 5 months ago
